South West Technology Breaks into Europe
Cobault named European Company of Innovation
Bristol, United Kingdom 4th June 2003, European Company of Innovation, Cobault Limited and The South West Innovation Relay Centre, funded by the South West RDA, are set to take on some of the worlds largest software companies with a pioneering sales force automation system.
Building on four years of research and development, Cobault Limited has produced a sales force automation environment which is set to disrupt a market predicted to be worth $12 billion by 2005 (Global Industry Analysts Inc).
Disillusioned with the existing sales solutions Cobault Limited, based in Bristol UK, has developed ‘Account Manager’ - a unique contact to contract sales environment which effectively challenges the current market leaders by significantly undercutting costs.
After completing the Beta program, during the first quarter of this year, Cobault immediately closed deals with global semiconductor companies through to financial plc’s and they recently claimed their 500th licensee.
Richard Male, who is a member of the South West RDA innovation team, stated ‘We have been working with the Cobault team for sometime now and we are truly excited about the potential this brings to the region. We regard Cobault as one of our leading innovative companies and we are now working with them to close a significant deal in Europe.
Cobault are now committed to cementing a partnership with a global enabling technology partner and Carson Bradbury, CEO of Cobault commented, ‘We have had a significant response in what is currently a very difficult market dynamic and we owe a great deal to Richard and the RDA team. Being cited as a European company of innovation helps us by definition and we look forward to working closely with the RDA in the future.’
Richard also commented that’ Cobault intend to disrupt the mid-enterprise Sales Force Automation market and take on some of the worlds biggest software companies and given their compelling technology offering we believe they can do it, which will mean good news for them and good news for the region’.
